The room was super clean. The front desk was nice to upgrade my room to a window room after I told him about my bad experience at an airbnb the nights before I went to this hotel. They even were able to hold onto my luggage after I checked out. Besides that, there aren’t many amenities (no drinking water or toothbrush in the room; no fridge), but that’s not really a problem when there’s so much good food and cheap Evian water in Paris! Some may say the area is a bit shady, but coming from Philadelphia it seemed just fine. I couldn’t hear the streets from my room too which is a big plus for me (just heard a police car now and then).

The hotel located is a quite dark street. At night time or early in the morning , you won't feel safe! It is an area full of homeless people and drunk men ! We booked early but was allocated to a tiny room facing side street on a low floor with no view but noise as you can hear sound from cars. The room is tiny as in the pictures you cannot open one luggage on the floor, don't even mention two luggages! But it is a room for 2 people ! I have to place my luggages in the shower room in order to open my luggages! Staff there are older male staff, they got no smiles and not welcoming , maybe, We are Asians! The bald guy at the front desk sound like you have owned him money he just made a long face all the time! I asked for some ice . The staff replied that they don't provide ice! But in the other hotel, they will go to bar and grab some for us even if the hotel do not have ice making machine! For this kind of hotel rate I would definitely find another better or more helpful one!

My best friend and I booked this hotel for my first trip to Paris and the hotel was spectacular. The front desk was accommodating and gave us a warm welcome. They would welcome you when you leave and every morning. The staff was willing to help and understand even though I couldn’t speak french fluently. I had one issue and the staff graciously took my concern into consideration. The hospitality was top notch. It felt like a home away from home. We upgraded to a larger room since our previous hotel was smaller and had no air conditioning. The air conditioning was perfection since of the heat wave we encountered. The bathroom was spacious and easy to maneuver. The water pressure and toilets worked effectively. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family. The cleanliness in the lobby and hotel as a whole was exceptional.
