Emix Ishigaki

Thank you for staying with us for two nights! It was a very open atmosphere, and the dormitory space was well-maintained! There are many restaurants around the inn, so we were able to enjoy some island cuisine!

This was my second stay at this inn, following last year, and I stayed here for two nights. The biggest advantage of this inn is its good location and reasonable price. The base for sightseeing, including the Yaeyama Islands, is the Euglena Remote Island Terminal. You can reach this remote island terminal in 4-5 minutes on foot from your room. The entrance to the inn is also in the Euglena Mall shopping district, so it is convenient for buying souvenirs, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby, making it the center of Ishigaki Island. This time I stayed here in a single room for less than 3,000 yen per night. As the inn's sign says "For Backpackers," the facility is simple, but there were no particular concerns about hygiene, the rooftop was available, and the receptionist was very kind. I'm the type who likes to eat and drink outside, so I rarely use the Yuntaku space, but it's also good for people who like to talk with other guests. It's nice to stay with friends and have fun with awamori in the Yuntaku space, or you can eat and talk while eating and drinking at the tables and benches on the rooftop. This is recommended for those who are price-conscious but also want convenience.

At first, it was overwhelmingly scary and unfamiliar, but I was able to interact with good people and the boss was very kind. If you do well on your own, there is no better place than here. It is a very comfortable atmosphere. If you are sociable, it is a very good choice.

The location is excellent, close to both the bus terminal and the pier. The kitchen, showers, and other facilities are also well-equipped. It's cheap, so you can overlook that to some extent. The only downside is that there is no air conditioner in the living room. It's muggy and not the kind of atmosphere you'd find conducive to eating or chatting. The guests are also on the older side, and don't talk much. It might not be suitable for people looking for the social interaction of a guesthouse.

It was conveniently located in the center of the city, connected to the arcade, and the facilities were comfortable and not noisy.
